Conference Dinner at GLÜCKUNDSELIGKEIT restaurant
Starting 7.30 pm on 30th September 2024

The conference dinner is included in the GCB2024 participation fee. We are looking forward to an enjoyable evening with good food and drinks. The celebration will take place in a remodelled church with a unique ambience.
DJ Daniel Wibberg will play after dinner and hopefully convince some of you to hit the dance floor.

Option 1: GCB to dinner
start: 17:30 at GCB lobby, Y-Building
via Teutoburg Forest and Sparrenburg (6km, 1.5h walking)

Starting from the conference site, we quickly reach the Teutoburg Forest. Our walk along the ridge takes us past the Bauernhausmuseum. We then pass the Johannisberg and cross a valley that offers a great view of the Sparrenburg, which we will soon reach. Here, we pause to enjoy the cityscape before continuing our descent to the restaurant.

Option 2: Downtown to dinner
start: 18:30 at town hall (stairs in front of "Altes Rathaus") via Old town and Sparrenburg (3km, 45min walking)

Our walk begins at one of Bielefeld's landmarks: the Old Town Hall. From there, we pass through the old town, including its centerpiece, the "Alter Markt," before ascending to the Sparrenburg. After taking in the view of Bielefeld, we continue our way down to the restaurant.
